A Condolence Visit By A Delegation from Japan to Mayor Topbaş…

Mr. Kadir  Topbaş, the mayor of Istanbul received a delegation led by Mr. Kentaro Sonoura, Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan in his Saraçhane Municipal Office yesterday.

A delegation led by Kentaro Sonoura, paid a condolence visit to Mayor Topbaş, to express solidarity with the people and Turkish parliament and offered condolences for the people who lost their lives for the sake of democracy and national will, during the coup attempt in Istanbul, on July 15, 2016.

The Japanese delegation conveyed their condolences for the victims of the coup attempt in Istanbul on July 15, 2016. During the visit held in the Municipality Palace located in Saraçhane and mayor Topbaş welcomed his guests in front of the Palace.

They reviewed the pictures and names of martyrs on the billboard hanged on the Municipality’s Building and they left red carnations in respect to those martyred during the coup attempt in Istanbul.
Mr. Kentaro Sonoura also signed the 15th of July, 2016 Memorial Guestbook opened for guest or visitors. He wrote: We would like to offer my deepest condolonces for the people who have lost their lives on July 15 in the failed coup attempt. We would like also to congratulate the courage and determination of the Turkish people who have bravely defended democracy and we will always stand by the Republic of Turkey. We hope that relationships between the two countries would last forever.
