Dolmabahçe Clock Museum

Dolmabahçe Saat Müzesi,

The Dolmabahçe Watch Museum, located at the old Inner Treasury building in the Harem Garden of the Dolmabahçe Palace, houses the exclusive watches owned by the National Palaces Clock Collection. After eight years of extensive repair and maintenance of these clocks, the museum was reopened to visitors in 2010. Meanwhile, new exhibition arrangements were made and a new showroom for new artworks was added. It is the first and only clock museum in Turkey

There are 71 clocks exhibited in the museum. The collection includes 18th and 19th century English automatons and the splendid mechanical clocks made by French masters. German, Italian and Austrian clocks are also displayed. This exhibition also includes extraordinary art works of Ottoman Mevlevi watch masters.

Visitor Information: 
Hours: They are from 09:00 am to 16:00 pm every day, except Monday and Thursday.
Rules: If there are signs, such as clearly prohibiting the use of flashes to protect the artwork, please, follow the rules.
